In the 5th grade, while reading aloud in class, David experienced a life-altering moment—his words, once fluid and effortless, suddenly stopped. What began as a typical reading session turned into the onset of a stutter that would follow him throughout adulthood. This unexpected challenge became a defining part of his journey, creating barriers in his career and personal life that felt like dams, holding back the natural flow of his voice and potential.
Yet, through perseverance, therapy, and the power of community, David discovered not just how to overcome these barriers but how to use his voice as a tool for empowerment. Oddly enough, the very thing that once silenced him—speaking—became his greatest strength. Today, as a motivational speaker, he shares his truth with audiences across the nation, helping others break through their own personal barriers.
